REMEMBER ME PRESS RELEASE

THEME: The song is about remembering and accepting the end of a relationship that is broken! Thrash rock/ post rock influences are used as a metaphor for that emotional place we are in after those horrible breakups but at heart the song is cathartic and celebrates moving on and accepting the end!

SONIC CHARACTER: Remember Me is a rock track coined by R. Victor Williams - Frontman of Liontribe. The song is governed by a three piece sound with a creamy fuzz bass intro and outro and strong guitar fuzz tones - The introduction vocals sit over a well executed ninth chord rift that rides the presiding bass rift creating a forward motion that pushes you into the chorus.

The chorus is a tapestry of unison vocals that creates an eloquent sonic effect. The vocals sit on a wall of fuzz mayhem. "The amount of Fuzz used was an artistic risk", Recalls Victor.

The track had to see 3 Remasters to get it's sonic character right. It was recorded live at NMP studios London with Andrei Niculai from 'Black Olives' engineering and Mastered by Nick Watson, Fluid Mastering!

The first verse uses fuzz guitar tones and a univibe effect, creating a melancholy platform for the vocals to sit over - while on the second verse Victor goes for raw gut with just fuzz power ninth chords guitar and vocals.

The song is a dichotomy in nature and represents a true artistic risk but it actually works and becomes a unique piece but the sound of LiONTRIBE has always been based on fusing genres - to the core Victor's vision for the project keeps the music eclectic and yet tasteful.
